"Alonissos is a beautiful island with very few tourists, unlike Santorini. Although it is hard to get to Alonissos since it does not have an airport, it is worth the commute. The island is very quaint and charming. The restaurants offered excellent dishes, much better than what Santorini offered as I remembered."

ONLY MARINE PARK IN GREECE
"Wonderful pristine and wild area parts of which are highly restricted. There are so many islands, many of which cannot be visited. It is the breeding area of the rare monk seal which is quite hard to see. But dolphins abound and are regularly seen. Sometimes turtles. A beautiful area of azure seas and green islands virtually free from humans."

"There are daily excursions by boat to the islands of Kyra Panagia, Psathoura, Peristera. They offer food and refreshments drinks during the cruise, on the deck of the vessel. Only if you're lucky you can meet dolphins, seals or even turtles careta-careta."
